Prior to launching Spectrum, Alissa Moore was a captive agent with a Fortune 100 insurance company. She served in both sales and management before realizing her vision of being able to truly be client-focused, rather than company-focused. She has been a licensed insurance professional since 1999. She was awarded the BNI All Star award in 2015, Outstanding Woman in the Community award from McDonald’s in 2012 and Affiliate of the Year by the Saint Charles County Women’s Council of REALTORS in 2010. She has also served on the board of the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, Saint Louis Metro and Saint Charles County Women’s Council of REALTORS chapters.

Alissa is active in her community. She is a member of the BNI Go Givers chapter, organizer of Drinks and Links – The Happy Hour Network, and an ambassador for the Saint Louis Mastermind. Connecting and helping others achieve their goals is something Alissa genuinely enjoys.

Being an authentic Hoosier is something Alissa takes great pride in. She and her husband of nineteen years moved to Saint Louis in 1997. They have three daughters, and have served as foster parents in recent years.

Alissa earned her Bachelor of Science in education from Ball State University in 1997. She also minored in Japanese. She worked full-time throughout college to stay focused on learning real-life business skills.

Alissa’s favorite quote is “Live life like you mean it.” Losing her father unexpectedly at age 49 has made her strive to get the most out of each day. She misses him dearly, but is forever grateful for this life lesson his loss taught her.
